Une version vinyle orange a \u00e9t\u00e9 sortie \u00e0 l&rsquo;occasion du Record Store Day le 29 ao\u00fbt 2020.<br><\/p>\n<p><b>Night Train<\/b> was recorded in various studios throughout the globe on Keane&rsquo;s world tour for 2008&rsquo;s <b>Perfect Symmetry<\/b>. The title alludes to the band&rsquo;s traveling on trains between gigs, their favorite method of travel. \u00ab\u00a0The idea was to chuck out a single, or at most an EP in October,\u00a0\u00bb Keane vocalist Tom Chaplin told <i>Billboard<\/i> magazine. \u00ab\u00a0But it turned into something more. I think we see it as a body of work that we made during touring. the first track Keane have ever recorded with Tim singing lead vocals.Tom told <a href=\"http:\/\/consequenceofsound.net\" target=\"_blank\">Consequence of Sound<\/a> why he didn&rsquo;t record the vocals for this song: \u00ab\u00a0Had we gone into the studio intending to make a full album, I don&rsquo;t think we would have given Tim the job of singing. But because of the way we made this record, we just ran out of time to record my vocals for it. The longer we lived with the demo vocal Tim had done for it, the more we liked it. I really love that song and love the spirit in which it came about as well.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0I think it&rsquo;s a very sad and powerful song about that sense a lot of people get of clinging on to old romances. Tim was telling me that when he originally started writing that song, he had this riff for it going around in his head. He said, &lsquo;I&rsquo;ve come up with this amazing riff!&rsquo; Once he played it a few times and done a little demo of the song, he realized it was exactly the same as the Rocky riff. It was a case of mistaken identity. The song developed out of that. It&rsquo;s like how many hip-hop artists made their records. They started with a sample or an idea and then turned it into something else.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Tom described Keane&rsquo;s collaborations with K&rsquo;Naan to <i>Billboard<\/i> magazine
